The Lineup Manager inside Hockey Lineup Manager helps coaches arrange a saved roster into forward lines, defense pairs, and goalie assignments, then share a readable game-day PDF. It is part of the native iPhone and iPad app, not a separate browser-based lineup service.
Prepare the roster before placing the lines
Confirm attendance, player names, jersey numbers, and goalie assignments. Choose the correct saved team before arranging positions. A saved roster is a starting point, not confirmation that everyone is available for this particular game.
Build the game-day reference
Arrange the forward groups and defense pairs, add the opponent and game date, and check staff and team branding where used. Save the complete lineup so it can be reopened or duplicated later. Review how extra players will participate with assistants; a position layout alone does not communicate every rotation decision.
Export, print, and communicate changes
Export the lineup PDF and check the actual document before sharing. Use a dated file or message so the staff can recognize the current copy. When you change the lineup, send a revised export: the earlier PDF does not update automatically.
Lineups are not scoresheet labels
A lineup PDF explains positions and groups. Scoresheet Stickers produce roster labels for official game paperwork. Cross-Ice Rotation manages an on-ice sequence over time. Choose the reference that answers the task in front of you.
Is the lineup builder free?
Hockey Lineup Manager is free to download, and Scoresheet Stickers do not require Pro. Advanced tools, including lineup functionality, may require Pro. Check current access in the app before planning your workflow.
Can assistants use the exported lineup?
A supported PDF can be printed or shared as a reference. It is not a live shared workspace, and editing the app’s original lineup does not change previously sent copies.
