Looking for a printable hockey roster? Start by deciding what you need to hand over. A scoresheet roster label, a coach’s lineup card, and a league registration form are different documents. The current Hockey Lineup Manager app generates coaching exports on iPhone and iPad; this page is not a standalone fillable-PDF download.
For game scoresheets: use the free sticker tool
Open Scoresheet Stickers inside HLM, add your roster and coaching staff, and export the label PDF. It is formatted for Avery 8163-compatible sheets and can include your team logo. A Pro subscription is not required for this tool.
Print a test on plain paper before using label stock. Compare alignment with the actual sheet and check the PDF’s page size and orientation. A readable roster with current numbers matters more than extra decoration.
For the bench: use a lineup card
If the document needs to show forward lines, defense pairs, and goalie assignments, use Lineup Manager rather than roster stickers. Build the game’s lineup from your saved roster and export a PDF for assistants or the locker room.
Lineup tools are not advertised here as an unrestricted free template. Review the current Pro options in the app before planning your workflow around an advanced feature.
Keep official and private information separate
Use your association’s required process for eligibility, registration, and tournament paperwork. An app-generated sheet does not establish that a player is eligible.
Keep family phone numbers, medical information, and other private details out of a roster that will be posted publicly or handed around the rink. Maintain staff contact records through the appropriate team system instead.
Reuse the roster, review every game
A saved roster is a starting point, not a substitute for checking attendance. Update jersey changes and coaching details, then make a new export when the information changes.
